OPEIU Scholarship Application Period Closes March 31

MAGE is very excited to be able to offer eligibility for the OPEIU Scholarships through our affiliation with OPEIU.   This is a wonderful benefit for MAGE-OPEIU Local 2002 members and their families.  Please remember that you must send the filled out application back to MAGE so we can confirm your membership is in good standing status.  We will then forward your applications to OPEIU. 

The deadline for returning the applications: March 31, 2017 for the John Kelly and Howard Coughlin Scholarships.  The deadline to return the Romeo Corbeil/Gilles Beauregard Summer Camp is May 15, 2017.   A full time Howard Coughlin is paid in $1,625 increments over 4 years for a maximum total of $6,500 and the part time is $662.50 paid each year over 4 years.  Both scholarships require proof of enrollment.   The John Kelly Labor Studies Scholarship is $3,250 and the Romeo Corbeil/Gilles Beauregard “Summer Camp” Scholarship is $2,000.

The OPEIU Scholarships are a great benefit for OPEIU Members and their families.  MAGE has been fortunate to have a scholarship winner nearly every year.   It really does pay to belong!   Click on the link below for the application - fill it out and send it back to MAGE at 6920 S.
