No Hearings on Nursing Staffing Legislation

Legislators in both the House and Senate have introduced bills that would establish nurse staffing levels—Rep. Jon Switalski (D-Warren), with HB 5425 and Senator Rebekah Warren (D-Ann Arbor) with SB 1019. These bills were referred to their chamber’s respective Health Policy Committees, which have not yet taken them up for consideration.
